Mini Melbourne Introduction
The Mini Melbourne has been designed with economical mobility in mind. It can easily be transported in the back of a van or small truck and is priced significantly lower than the Mini Tokyo weighing platform.
Unlike the Mini Tokyo model (which comes in three small sections), the Mini Melbourne is designed as one component. No assembly is required, therefore making the setup time three times quicker. With a total weight of 49kg, the Mini Melbourne is considerably lighter than the Mini Tokyo which weighs 58.5kg. The Mini Melbourne has two strong handles fitted to its underside, making it easy to carry and move by one person or two people. It also comes with its own components box. Despite its lighter product weight, the Mini Melbourne is equally as capable as other models with the ability to weigh a 1500kg horse.
The Mini Melbourne is ideal for travelling sales representatives and independent equine nutritionists. This product is very useful for the mobile vet who may require a weighing platform with them at all times. This platform is equally beneficial for racehorse trainers that are campaigning their horses overseas and may require a mobile weighing platform during their travels. It can easily be stowed in its upright position within their horse transportation, and is ready for immediate use upon arrival at the overseas racecourse within the quarantine stables.
This platform is suitable for all horse and pony types with differing temperaments.

Please do not carry out any of the following otherwise our 24 months warranty is immediately invalidated.
- Do not move our weighing platforms with a tractor or forklift, as you will, without fail, badly damage the electronics that are the underneath the weighing platforms.
- Do not weigh horses on our weighing platforms with studs in their shoes – these must be completely removed prior to weighing.
- For any damage caused to our electronics by rodents, including rats, this damage is not covered under our 24-month warranty. We strongly recommend all clients have a robust rodent protection policy in place at all times.
