Launched in September 2025 at the BEVA Congress in Birmingham UK, the Mini Melbourne entered the equine weighing industry with a bang. Proving to be incredibly popular from the outset, the Mini Melbourne has expanded Horse Weigh’s portfolio of equine weighing platforms to suit any and all needs that the individual may have.
Designed for economical mobility, the Mini Melbourne is almost 10kg lighter than the Mini Tokyo, allowing it to be carried by one person and easily transported in the back of a small van. The only difference is that it is one component, instead of three. Consequently, it is three times quicker to assemble situating it as the ideal travel companion for feed reps, horse nutritionists, and mobile vets.
Despite its lighter weight, it retains all of the Mini Tokyo’s features such as having the capacity to weigh a 1500kg (3307 lbs) horse.
