RE: Horse Weigh

As one of the UK’s largest and busiest Equine Hospitals, we rely on a myriad of different tools and equipment to provide the best medical care possible to out patients. Crucial to this care is our ability to weigh horses accurately in order to determine to the milligram the dose of drug they may require. We also monitor our patients’ weight throughout their stay and finally when they leave, ensuring that they haven’t gained or lost too much weight during their time at the hospital. This means that our weigh bridge is used on average 300 to 400 times per month. Recently we had to replace a worn out bridge. Unfortunately the company we chose was a disappointment and the whole affair turned into a disaster. The delivery was a month late and when the machine finally arrived…it didn’t work. The after sales service was appalling and we were left to ourselves to sort out each problem. Eventually we sent the whole machine back and decided at a great financial loss to the Practice to start again. This is when we met Mr William Bedell from the Horse Weigh Company. What first gave us confidence was that Horse Weigh only deals in weighing machines and not a wide variety of products. Their knowledge of their product was outstanding and they were able to give us a great deal of advice on which machine best suited our needs. Mr Bedell came personally to the hospital to demonstrate the machine and to talk to our maintenance crew, in order to best describe our installation options. The machine was ordered on a Monday and arrived on the Wednesday of that same week. We had a slight problem with the device used to charge the reading display and were furnished with a new one immediately. The after sales care has been second to none. I would feel very confident in recommending this company to anyone in need of a weighing machine.
