All Horse Weigh products are now using electronics that allow the platform to be closer to the ground, more horse friendly, and at the same time can withstand greater impact.
The cables are more robust and can withstand a horse treading on them without fear of damage.
Pre 2003 models with Ezifeet can be upgraded with Loadbars, significant differences:-
1) Qualified IP67 which means it is guaranteed to be waterproof
Ezifeet used on all pre 2003 models were IP64 which was the highest grade available at the time, but were not guaranteed to be waterproof.
2) Platforms are now closer to the ground i.e. 4.5 inches (10.8cm) not 5.5 inch making the platform more horse friendly.
3) Loadbars will take 4 times more stress than Ezifeet. They are more robust and stable and will withstand all movements including horses rearing etc.
Loadbars have been extensively tested and are supplied on all models of the Horse Weigh.
They have been successfully used world-wide, in 18 Countries in all climatic conditions.
